STORYTELLING THROUGH SOUND

Any good song is telling a story.  Even if the lyrics aren't a literal story, the progression and emotion unfolds to make you feel something.  I want to find the story in your song and help others feel it.

A HUMAN APPROACH

My approach is to keep the music uniquely human.  We aren't perfect and we aren't machines.  I want the recording to represent the artist and not something artificial. Perfect pitch isn't always better.  Painfully out of tune is one thing, but there is something special and lovely about a real performance that touches the listener.  We have wonderful technology in the music industry, but some of the best records were made before we could "fix" performances with such precision.  

ADVOCATE FOR YOUR ART

 I thoroughly research every artist I work with.  I want to know what you enjoy listening to, why, and what you are passionate about.  This process is important in finding the right aesthetic for sounds and how the music will be recorded.  My biggest fear in this field is to miss-represent an artist.  This is your art, and I want to help bring your vision and dream to life.
